Who We Are

Uzuri Wetu is a women-led Kenyan social enterprise/NGO founded in 2024, dedicated to empowering youth and women by equipping them with essential skills and capabilities that promote self-sufficiency and sustainable livelihoods. Rooted in Kilifi County, the organization recognizes and values the strengths, abilities, and expertise within local communities, placing them at the center of identifying their own needs and developing lasting solutions. Through this community-led approach, Uzuri Wetu seeks to create a ripple effect of positive change across Kilifi County and the wider region.

Uzuri Wetu envisions a community where individuals—especially youth and women—are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive independently.Our mission is to cultivate an environment that encourages personal and professional development through co designed intitatives which include training programs, mentorship, and capacity-building activities.
